>From all accounts, the Softmark unit is pretty useless. Depending on which software you will use, you might consider a Prologix. Also, there are quite a few Agilent USB-GPIB converters on ebay. Although I understand that most of the ones selling as "new" are fakes. I ordered a "used" one. When I have it, I will open it to see if it is genuine or not.
