Maybe there is an effect when the solar wind is switched off for half an hour. The ionosphere may shift in that time. This is a great opportunity when an impulse is applied to the system. The switching off of the solar UV is sure to affect the ozone layer. You will not have an opportunity to make these observations again for a long time. A good OCXO will keep time for half an hour, will the apparent GPS time show a deviation?
