RG-58 is very lossy at GPS signal frequencies. The sweet spot on the cost/performance chart is RG-6. It's widely available as low loss cable TV. It's slightly larger diameter than RG-59. It's 75 ohms, but the loss due to mismatch is small relative to the cable loss. -- These are my opinions.
