Sorry if I have caused any un due confusion thru my perhaps incorrect use of the terms "cannon" and "XLR." The green connector with 4 separate female contacts is what I perhaps in correctly referred to as a "cannon" connector. The silver connector with 3 separate female contacts was what I perhaps incorrectly referred to as a "XLR" connector.
Both were in use in my lab powering time nuts gear.
