Interesting thread. I guess I would look at things a bit differently. Most of the IRIG clocks have nice displays and perhaps its a case of hacking a device take you pick into those fine displays. I have a really nice 3 RU bright clock that if the brains die thats what I will do. Its a pretty easy task. Currently it is being driven by a GPS module + processor jamming time into Evertz LTC generator. Its been working for some 20 years this way. Regards Paul
