Hi Folks,
I am currently working on the next version of my Windows installer for
NTP, which offers a list of pool server entries the user can choose from
at install time. The current version lists "only" regional pools (e.g.
europe.pool.ntp.org, oceania.pool.ntp.org, ...) and the generic
pool.ntp.org address. Someone from the ntp newsgroup asked to include
the country entries for those countries with enough servers (at the
moment I chose de, nl, uk and us).
When I added those countries (my installer automatically uses
0.de.pool.ntp.org, 1.xx and 2.xx entries for the selected pool) I
wondered if we could add a 3.xxx entry for each pool (with enough
servers), because it's always said that you need at least four servers
to be protected against one falseticker.
Would this be possible or is it senseless/too much work?
