I appear to have been slashdotted ... any ideas on why before I decide to shut down my server? (within the next two hours)
'normal' use here is 30k queries per hour and 20 users firewalled, with spikes to 100k for one hour a day. inbound traffic per hour for last 12 hours Sat Feb 4 22:51:29 2006 - 31567 pkts, 1598 users. Sun Feb 5 03:51:29 2006 - 30468 pkts, 1420 users. Sun Feb 5 04:51:29 2006 - 129573 pkts, 4806 users. Sun Feb 5 05:51:29 2006 - 286411 pkts, 9356 users. Sun Feb 5 06:51:29 2006 - 321598 pkts, 10149 users. Sun Feb 5 07:51:29 2006 - 313700 pkts, 10266 users. Sun Feb 5 08:51:29 2006 - 309183 pkts, 10350 users.
