That would be so much better that it should not even be suggested to
pass through
the NTP option address, because the client in Windows really is just
SNTP instead
of NTP. An NTP implementation in a router would smooth the roundtrip time
jitter of the WAN link (caused by the P2P applications etc), providing a
stable
time reference on the LAN for the SNTP client to use.
