John -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Re: [time] HELP PLEASE::: NTP Garmin GPS 18lvc with PPS and gpsd Date: Tue, 16 Jan 2007 17:13:39 -0000 From: David J Taylor <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [I've tried sending this to list, but it hasn't appeared...] Folks, The GPS18 LVC already sends out quite a long pulse, 200msec IIRC, so no stretching should be required. You can program the length. Putting an LED (with a 470 ohm resistor) between the PPS output and ground should show approximately what the pulse length is. With 200ms I can clear see the start and end of the pulse as two distinct events.
