Hi all,

I have recently had some serious problems with my server and was forced
to change IP addresses temporarily. As a result of this I, as expected,
fell out of the pool. However, when I now, 2 weeks or so later, turn on
the old IP address, I still see NTP packets arriving (even though NTPD
is not running yet).

So, my question would be, how long should you expect clients remain with
the IP assigned from the pool? Until they are restarted? If no
response is sent, do they still keep trying?

Johan
