Hey guys,
I recently joined the ntp server pool and am very glad to be part of
such an awesome project. I like the way that you see the 'score' of
your server(s).
What I thought was be kind of fun (and informative) is if there was a
way to view or sort servers by their score. eg:
- The Top 10 Servers (scores close to 20)
- The Top 100 Servers
- A histogram of all the servers by score
I have a 19.2 score right now, and have only been a 'server' for a few
days, so I just want to see where I stand :)
Also (and some people will probably NOT like this), but I think it would
be very cool if the 'monitors' could also should how many peers your
server is serving, etc. I know that would mean that you would probably
have to grant some permissions for it to do that, and deal with
authentication, etc. But would be a nice thing to see.
Again, Im new, so if these ideas have been presented before and rejected,
be gentle :)
