Hi, I just signed this petition to stop Tom DeLay.
Although I don't agree with Democracy for America on a lot of things (I'm a Libertarian) I do agree with them on this. He is at the center of a machine that launders corporate influence in our political process. And that machine reaches even into the House Ethics Committee that is supposed to be investigating its activity. Four of the five Republicans on the Committee have received money from the DeLay operation. We must demand that the Ethics Committee appoint an outside counsel to lead the probe in DeLay's wrongdoing. Let's send a message to the committee and DeLay's constituents in Texas that the man called the "chief enforcer of company contributions to Republicans" will not be getting the same consideration for his money that his contributors get from theirs.
