Are there any plans to support SFZ directly? It looks like the most modern and forward thinking sample format available http://www.sfzformat.com/index.php?title=Main_Page. It is an open format. It has the advantage of a human readable definition file like GUS Patches have, but it is supported by modern editors like SF2 such as in Polyphone and Linuxsampler.
