The issue seems to be the new -MMD argument handling. -MMD,depfile works as expected, but -MMD alone gives the error. Is the default deps_outfile set correctly, seems unset? By default it should be the output folder.
It's not related to MinGW, I also get the same error on Ubuntu 2024 gcc 14.2 Cheers, TY
