You are referring to "reproducible binary" for whichever Posix-like system - there is many - , which of cause is relevant to the question, but does not necessarily cover _all_ aspects as live-bootstrap and in particular it's stage0-posix loader/kernel/assembler and M2-Planet does to confirm a complete dependency chain without any "circular dependency". > You know this.
