I have been looking at exporting/importing into a new db, but it seems that any field that is a reference doesn't want to work. For example, if I export partner contacts, the partner field that is exported for the partner contact is "browse_record(res.partner, 1)". The import balks on that saying that the "relation is not found". I have tried exporting a single contact from a partner, then reimporting it back into the same database, and still the import fails.
