I am using freshly installed 4.2.0 on top of Fedora Core 7. The ability to updated the modules list and to download these modules remotely is a great feature. However, I am not seeing all the modules that are at the website. (The one module I was seeking was the US manufacturing chart of accounts when I discovered the problem.)
When I update the list: Administration -> Modules Management -> Update Modules List Not all the modules listed at http://www.tinyerp.org/download/modules/ are shown. This undoubtedly is due to the regular expression filter defined in: Administration -> Modules Management -> Repositories There is discussion of this issue on the Bug Tracker here (bug 327): http://tinyforge.org/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=327&group_id=13&atid=129 for a release candidate version. The bug tracker comments say that the regular expression filter was changed to only display 4.2.0 applicable modules. However, many of the modules at the repository are named as 4.3.1 and do not show up on the list. An example is the module I am interested in: l10n_chart_us_manufacturing-4.3.1.0.zip. As a new user, I ask: Is this a bug? What does the 4.3.1 designations on all the modules indicate? It is safe to use a module labelled 4.3.1 in my 4.2.0 system?
