How about a Quality Control Module?

All incoming goods should be checked and the values should be compared to saved 
standard value ranges. Only if the values are acceptable (QC is passed) the lot 
should be transferred to stock. The measured values should be saved with the 
lot. The action should be carried out by QC person with the needed rights. If 
QC is not passed, the goods should be marked as not usable in stock and the 
return of goods should be initiated.

Similar procedure for produced goods. Only QC passed raw material should be 
used. And only QC passed produced goods should be available for sale.
