I think the proposed "Proposed Lot Management" might achieve this without further extenson. For example incoming goods could be received into location "Quarantine" and then particular lots(s) moved by QC to the stock location with an "internal picking". The picking notes field could be used as a free text record eg of the laboratory analysis. Likewise goods could be manufactured into quarantine and then moved with a picking or an extra productiuon step. (Some adaption would be needed if you wanted to define in the product record maximum/minimum values of certain properties and prohibit transfer of lots which do not comply) Notice that new arrivals do not need to be kept physically separate in quarantine, they can be kept together with existing stock because because TinyERP is now controlling picking of the lots and cannot pick a lot that has not been released into stock by the QC person. _______________________________________________ Tinyerp-users mailing list http://tiny.be/mailman/listinfo/tinyerp-users
