Installation sequence (during the last 18 month - so may be not
accurate)
* created DB - with ONE company - and users (now version 4.2.2)
* created a SECOND company with new users in this company
* using time sheets and try to use hr_timesheet_invoice - which does
everything I wanted until "validate" invoice - complains about not
matching companies
* installed multi_company_account (do not remember when I installed
multi_company)
* opening partner tree view - message "AccessError"
"You try to bypass an access rule (Document type: Account)."
Each object may have in multi company a field company_id wich define
in wich company it belong. The access rule check if the company_id
from the object is the same than your user belong to.
To correct this there might be more than one solution :
1. Attribute the right company to each account in your chart of account
2. Check your properties in partner, you probably have one or more
partner wich the default sell / buy account is from an other company
(very long and boring to chack, but it appen frequently when you pass
in multi-company mode).
3. You may be want to see account from the other company, and
attribute it to your partner (sounds special, but in some case it
could be). So you have to set the rules differently to allow people to
see account from foreign company.
Hope it helps you, multi-company is very complicated...

Joël
but it is possible to continue - except that I do not see accounts
which have been defined before.
This happens for both companies.
help is welcome
