Sorry, Pedro. I confused the issue in the midst of my frustration. You 
referenced OpenERP's commercial services, and the email alerting me to your 
response came from [EMAIL PROTECTED] So, I thought you were a Tiny salesman.

And, to be totally frank, I have no idea of the type of information you need to 
help me. I don't know diddly about logs, tracebacks, and other animals of such 
stripe that I see regularly referenced in the forum. I don't know what they are 
nor even where to look for them.

But, if you did a new Hardy install without problems, I'm willing to uninstall 
and re-install. Can I do that while still saving my current database? If so, 
how?

The problem obviously generated from my Ubuntu Fiesty to Hardy upgrade. I first 
thought I had also lost the whole danged database but fumbled around and found 
it. I'm nervous about losing that existing data.
