Hi, I see the partnership as a "thank you", I mean, if you are
getting paid for someone else's work, you'll be happy to thank those
people. This is not just, give me, give me, give me, it's about to
have the project going on, I'm almost sure that Tiny is able to be
in bussiness without the partner's money contribution. But to be
fair, try to put a price on your services adding some money to make
the whole project sustainable by buying modules to Tinyerp, or
paying the partnership.

Have you read the cool ideas Tiny has about the SFD Projects? The
quality of the things they have developed, the kloc they had
released, and all the efforts worth a lot more than a partnership?

To make things clear, I'm still not a partner, I'm learning many
things about OpenERP, I have reported some bugs, that have been
solved promptly, I have just made some translations, but I hope to
contribute a lot more.

The efforts from Fabien and a lot more people deserve to be
retributed. Do not expect to be everything for free, are you doing
your things for others for free? It becomes easy to blame or ask
others to do the things that one is not doing. Th code is one
thing, the services are other, Fabien talked clear about that in his
previous post.

His time worths more than replying to many people asking for even
more than there is already. I guess he and the whole team are
working really hard on so many things that maybe we do not
understand or are not on the focus yet. Please let them work.
Sorry if it sounds a kind of rude. But this kind of questions
usually come from someone that haven't done 1 percent of what others
have done.

forum-user> Ok, I understood your point. But that's a pity, that people
overlooks these questions, as is everything under GPL(2) for free or not. This
is too silly to think so, if I have had the question on that, I would ask
somewhere else.
forum-user>
forum-user> And it's a bit silly to think that Tiny will maintain the module of
someone's else development, even more - keep over time all the features of the
module. It is always being done by the team that have developed it.
forum-user>
forum-user> Still no one have answered the question about, who and how the
Planet is being managed/administered?
forum-user>
forum-user> At least I have figured out that TM's are not GPL'd, and if someone
else who does false state that it has partnership connections with them, could
be theoretically enforced... If it is not so hard, please correct the statement
at the bottom of the OpenERP.com pages!
forum-user>
forum-user> This is actually the main reason to buy or not to buy Partnership.
The other so called benefits are bundled together, without clear need. It is
sad if you have to buy a cow, if you only need a bucket of milk.
