Hi,
forum-user> Ahoy!
forum-user> I am in the process of implementing openERP and the last hurdle
before beginning is making sure I can have other people on the network working
on the same database.
forum-user>
forum-user> I have run the all in one setup on the first PC (WinXP64) and have
done some preliminary tweaking.
forum-user>
forum-user> Now I have installed the allinone setup on another pc on the
network that is running standard XP. How do I get the second PC to connect to
the database I am using on the first?
forum-user>

Put on all the clients the IP of the server, and make sure that
postgresql on the server accepts connections from the clients.

For best results and ease of administration for the near, medium and
long term, do use Linux on the server. You'll be able to admin
everything being pretty far and with slow connections.

forum-user> I have done a search, but didn't find any direct answers.
forum-user>
forum-user> any help appreciated
