Two points: I think your question exposed misunderstandings that the book
could help you with - but the documentation on the Wiki might also help you (it
appears to be undergoing systematic improvement now).
The firewall questions are standard sysadmin issues, so you just need
IT expertise - but some of these are mentioned in the book as well!
