  The only problem with doing that kind of thing is that now you've essentially 
branched off into your own world of UI behavior and this may and probably will 
end up conflicting with future changes to OpenERP.  The UI behavior in v5.0 is 
just weird.  It doesn't behave like other MVC apps.  It's hard to figure out 
how to make it work in any but the most simple scenarios.  As soon as you try 
to get into any typical business scenario it breaks down.

  Members of the community that have a good deal of experience in business 
application user interfaces need to have a whole discussion about the UI.  From 
my perspective it just doesn't work as it is currently.
