Hello,

Just one issue (BIG !!!) I have seen concerning the overall way that openERP
manages units of measure for a product (whatever I think so, I have to test
more to be sure). Indeed, you can change whenever you want the unit of measure
of a product, even if there are some stocks for it and/or some open orders !!!!
Neither warning no error message !!! I didn't have time to verify if, when
modifying unit of measure, there are some entries in accounting in order to
reflect the valuation stock difference. but I think possibility to change so
easily the unit of measure of a product is very very dangerous for a company
!!!!! User error or confusion while initially creating a product, or re use of
an old product to avoid the need to create a new record are frequent in an ERP
(10 years of experience on SAP)...

Maybe there is a logic behind...

If anyone as an idae on it, of if tiny team is aware of this problem, any
annoucement should be profitable for all community.

Regards,
