I think Jython will bring OpenERP far high into the new level of acceptance. Mee to, I love ROR and Jruby. I dream one day that the great OpenERP will run on Jython. Netbeans is great for the developement. Like Jruby, Jython is supported by Netbeans. There is the Jython Netbeans 6.5 in beta you can download to play with. It is quite promising. Cheers.
