After working with V4 and V5 for a while now, and converting over 30 of our internal modules from V4 to V5 I came to the conclusion that it was probably not going to be possible to perform a migration in an automated manner. There are just too many changes in V5.
The migration will have to be a manual migration for each installation especially if you have written your own modules.
