You can create prospects in crm for all customers. converth them in opportunity 
if there is a positive reply or cancel lead if there is negative reply. By that 
way you can categorize all leads and follow up them.

OpenERP set constraints in objects where needed so that you can not duplicate 
data. for example: you can not enter same client/vendor twice.

You can use base_synchro module of share funding.
It will synchronize 2 OpenERP servers. you can make offline entries and 
synchronize those entries with remote server whenever you get online.
