Yes, clicking on that opens a new screen, but there are no records at all, 
although I pushed the "Attachement"-Button on the Thunderbird-applet while 
selecting the same partner record.
So something does not work here...
I have no idea, how to debug.
Does your applet check any possible openERP error messages?
