Hi Kaspars, It is a jolly good addon. If I understand correctly, one can define multiple methodology (business rules) and link them to one service and further link the service to agreement. The structure of this addon is brilliant.
It is flexible as well as powerful. Irony is that it requires one to know python for complex calculations/parsing. I guess one can't get away with not knowing python :) Couple of questions: 1. Does it create single invoice with methodology to be line items? or does it create multiple invoices against an agreement with each invoice representing a methodology. We need all the methodologies to be listed as line items in the invoice. For example, methodology 1: basic subscription, methodology 2: telephone usage, methodlogy 3: vehicle usage.... at the end of the month we want to have one invoice with three lines saying; basic, telephone usage, vehicle usage ... 2. Also can we have a calculation to say if total amount of the invoice exceeds certain limit than apply 50% discount on the remaining amount. For example, basic charges are 100USD and the telephone charges make the total invoice to be 150USD. We would like to only charge 125USD (50% of 50USD which is additional to 100USD). Sometimes telephone charges doesnt exceed 100USD and sometimes it can go above than that. Discount to kick in only when it is above basic sub i.e. 100USD in this example. Perhaps this is when one uses python in the calculation. 3. Can one run multiple agreements in one go or is it mandatory to go into each agreement and process them individually. I am still trying to configure it and hoping that it works without a hitch.
