When the switch was made to bazaar there were some wiki comments made about how the trunk and stable would work. My understanding was that the trunk was where all the developments and bugfixes would be merged eventually and given a tag number for each specific release. And that the stable branch was for bugfixes only but they too would be merged into the trunk.
So today I pull the server trunk and it shows revno 1884. Then I run 'bzr tags' and there are no tags past 5.0.0-3 release. So what is happening with the trunk? A few months ago there was some discussion that the trunk had gone 'wild' whatever that meant. Has the trunk been straightened out since then? It does not seem so. So what is the status and relationship of trunk and stable branches and how are people expected to use them currently?
