Hi! Although I understand that this probably should be asked in another forum branch (Development Topics), still I decided to go for main forum...
It is unclear who is in charge for fixing bugs in core, where the quality team seems to be in charge. There are numerous bugs being filed, but only few of them are paid attention to. Ok, I fully understand that Tiny is rightfully to ask payment for their services, but as to me, it is clear that bugs should be handled as a part of development. Free testing is part of FOSS idea... Otherwise people may think that the project is dead. I have filed a bug that directly affects accounting - move validation. Although I have provided solution that works, there was a patch released, that is absolutely unconnected with the problem - as I predicted, it does not solve this problem. Not even mention that it is wrong approach, which will make even more problems. There are bugs older than a month in a state "New". It seems that the bug-fixing process, even in a core system, is being done on occasional base, by a community. Why dreaming of a version freeze and upcoming 6.0, if there is such a mess with current branch? Jumping up the versions each year, does not make this software more mature, or am I wrong?
