Caonabot, I am not sure if you are getting my message right. HL7 is a standard to exchange messages within the health care as you can read on www.hl7.org In many cases, one of the most requested feature is to be able to digitize different sources of information (Microscope with cam, Radiography, Patient records from scanners, Digital camera, Mic,...) referred to as information or record aquisition, then being able to transmit it (HL7) and finally replying to patients, doctors,... with the right files (may be even compressed into one file)
As long as you need one medical management system (small to mid size) then Medical is definitely a good choice. If you would however explore the scenario above, then you will see that Medical can not offer this option.
