it means nothing, there is no bug-free version
you can get up-to-date 5.0.7 from bazaar

they do
trunk is supposed to become 5.2 in april, it may also become 6.0

there are not official releases of trunk
you can get them on real time from bazaar
I copy it daily to http://download.sisalp.net  as *-trunk.tar.gz

this has always been a know problem, documentation is not managed by version. 
You have to save info when available if you need to support an older version.
