I understand now how it works and followed your explanation with success in the 
system.


Actually I thought that OpenERP's leave request was based on the usual leave 
request process that you find in every companies:

1) Employee creates a leave request, the approver is the N+1 in the employee 
hierarchy (so the field holiday manager is prepopulated with that N+1)

2) When enployee push on "confirm" button, a workflow sends a request into 
manager's inbox (in OpenERP it should be in the request view on top right of 
the screen).

3) N+1 sees the request in his inbox and validates/deny the leave -> this sends 
back a message in employee inbox mentionning if request has been approved or 
denied.

I am quite new with OpenERP, so I don't know yet the technical layer, but do 
you think that I can customize such a process via the workflow editor, or this 
tool will not be enough, meaning that Python coding will be required ?
