You shouldn't underestimate GPG. It uses the same trust principles as the other system (PKI, SSL) you mention. It's just that it's much easier to build a web of trust on PGP, rather than the commercial CA's.
I dont underestimate; GPG is a thechnical a good crypto solution. It's just the law. Money is also just a pice of colored paper, but the state/law gives him value. In this case, goverment say only signing based on a Trustcenter are valid and approved by tax-authorities. (where name/company/.. has been veryfied ), not just a "gpg --keygen" :) (in german, use a translator if needed) http://www.heise.de/newsticker/meldung/EU-Kommission-will-Rechnungssignatur-kippen-205119.html http://www.rechnung.de/hintergrund.php -------------------- m2f -------------------- -- http://www.openobject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=55587#55587 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ Tinyerp-users mailing list http://tiny.be/mailman2/listinfo/tinyerp-users
