@odony @Fabien.... I think we "The community" need give a proposal to process of review the code.... But we need to take as basement for this _what are your internal accounting guidelines _
We are experienced the same scenary around the historical cost calculation in Venezuela that Rvalyi said, I think in european economies you can have the same cost of a product for years, in Venezuela (and almost 50% of countries around the world) the management of costs and taxes depends of time and can take variations almost weekly in some economies and between diferent partners...... The cost in refound _never_ should be taken from the actual values..... and the answer was very poor, we think this problem is very important, this is a hidden problem that the customer only will see after has data and change this ones.... [1] [1]https://bugs.launchpad.net/openobject-addons/+bug/527120 We had to build a very complex module (we are working on it) to audit aaaaaaaall the cost in the past 6 month in our 3 big customers because all the amounts around this was wrong.... Conclusion: We have now: -- Coding guidelines. -- Usability guidelines. [in process] -- Community process guidelines. But.... THis is an ERP...... is very important that we have: -- Accounting Guidelines. -- Administrative [Sale and Purchase] Guidelines. -- Logistic [MRP && Stock] Guidelines. With this you wil ensure that we "The community" and you "The Editor" won't need to refactor almost 3 or 4 times the same modules in extra-addons of addons, or mantain 30 branches around the world..... But i need to say that, today (excluding the cost issue) we have experienced a very good feedback for our customers around the "WHat the ERP allow them to do". For this reason, I propose the Functional Expert Guidelines... and make a really big effort around this.... and dedicatetime in check this information from OpenERP ++1 Rvalyi...
