As an example on Spain almost every program allows searching accounts using the 
dot as a will-card (that matches zeros), so "43.15" will match the account 
"43000015", this is really useful (and demanded) on Spain and might be used on 
other countries with numeric account codes... but it is not compatible with the 
chart of accounts of Venezuela (as they may use dots in the account codes).

Also, the Spanish localization rewrote the entire end-of-fiscal-year closing 
wizard (one screenshot:

 to make it much easier (preconfigured), more secure (checks the accounting, 
easy to undo) and even beautiful :)... but incompatible with other countries.

Maybe we should do a two-step freeze: First freeze the core of the v6 (account, 
sale, purchase...), so the community can test it (we can not be testing it each 
week again and again to see if something broke), check that it works with the 
localizations and correct it if not, do small feature changes to improve the 
rough points, etc... 
Second do the real freeze.
