@Lancer786 If that's for TerminatOOOR, all you need of Ruby is that http://tryruby.org Then the basics of OOOR: http://github.com/rvalyi/ooor
After that, you really need general OpenERP knowledge you would need anyway: navigate the database structure using Administration > Customization > Database Structure, and eventually look at the OpenERP source code in the module if you need advanced things such as on_change events, workflow actions, buttons clicks... Again, TerminatOOOR is not yet for the IT noobs. Once you have some moderate IT+OpenERP knowledge it gives you the power of god, but if you don't have it, you can only aim at tweaking template Kettle transformations some integrator did for you already (like you have a bank reconciliation transfo and you adapt it for a new bank, you have some product import transfo and you add a new field etc...). Unfortunately, there is no real simple solution with OpenERP for those that don't know IT yet. The CSV import/export stuff from the OpenERP clients might be the simplest, but soon it's very limited indeed. I guess that better error management in general in OpenERP and more consistency in the database objects could eventually make it more accessible in the future, but that's still the future, and we have to fight for that every day... ------------------------ Raphaël Valyi CEO and OpenERP consultant at http://www.akretion.com -------------------- m2f -------------------- -- http://www.openobject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=59922#59922 -------------------- m2f --------------------
