A this time August 2010, I have noticed two different informations: http://openerp.com/discover/6.html
> > Restrictions > > * All names, links and logos of Tiny, Open ERP and Axelor must be kept as > in the original distribution without any changes in any software screens, > especially in start-up page and the software header, even if the application > source code has been changed or updated or code has been added. > * All distributions of the software must keep source code with OEPL. > * All integrations to any other software must keep source code with OEPL. > http://doc.openerp.com/legal/license.html > > The OpenERP web client is distributed under the âOpenERP Public Licenseâ. > Itâs based on Mozilla Public License (MPL) Version 1.1 with following > restrictions: > > * All names, links and logos of Open ERP must be kept as in original > distribution without any changes in all software screens, especially in > start-up page and the software header, even if the application source code > has been changed or updated or code has been added. > * You can use the configuration interface to replace the âMade by Tiny > & Axelorâ logo by your own logo but you must keep all others references to > Open ERP as it. > * All distributions of the software must keep source code with OEPL. > * All integrations to any other software must keep source code with OEPL. > > In my opinion, allowing to change the logo "top left" is good for the company using OpenERP: allows the user to know he is working "erp" on that specific company. In an other hand, in OpenERP V6 (actual web-client) There is no logo remembering the use of OpenERP software. In V5, there is that little logo top right. Maybe bigger with link to openerp.com in V6 would be enough to make remember the product. Anyway, which of the link will be valid for the coming V6? ------------------------ Allez, hop, retournons au boulot, maintenant!! -------------------- m2f -------------------- -- http://www.openobject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=60318#60318 -------------------- m2f --------------------
