Hi,
I always install new version using "rpm --nodeps --force --ignoreos -Uvh".
Maybe the missing options do the trick.

I'm trying to install 1.1.4 contrib and 1.1.14 tinyos packages on my XP machine. The current tinyOS version is 1.1.11 (at least I think ... this is the version that I've installed from the Moteiv CD ) The users map in cygwin come from a Window scenario that is quite complicated as the PC is in a network with a central management. Anyway my user has Administrator rights on the PC and in cygwin my user belongs to Administrators group as well. TinyOS has been installed with my user from CD wizard and everything runs correctly.
Unfortunatelly, running rpm -Uvh
tinyos-contrib-1.1.4Apr2005cvs-1.cygwin.noarch.rpm I get the following blocking

Does anyone can help me?
Thanks in advance
