I think the tinyos-1.1.10 uses simply CSMA not even with collision detection. In fact with wireless, collision detection is difficult due to hidden and exposed station problems. The newer versions of tinyos-1.x (.15 onwards) uses something called B-Mac and S-Mac or at least thats what is proposed to be used.
