If you want, you can surely write a stand-alone C program and burn it to
a mote -- it's just a microcontroller. However, you can't do this using
the tinyos platform -- because like Darren states your two requirements
there conflict right off the bat. (TinyOS == nesC != C/C++).
However, this has nothing to do with TinyOS and so probably isn't
appropriate for any tiny-os mailing lists.

must write your code in nesC - or else write you own Cpp2nesC
preprocessor/converter, but lets face it, learning nesC would be
quicker.
No-one is going to tell you what you want to hear. If your situation is
that urgent you should listen to the advice you are given.
All: Does anyone have any better advice? I think the OP needs to hear
unanimously from the community that the solution he wants is not
possible.
