Is that any way I can power down the GPS module of MTS420 so that I can still work with MoteView using AA batteries? I really would like to use MoteView because it builds up all the DB for me with PostgreSQL. I can use SurgeView and put it in a log file but then I have to build the DB with that values and the worst of all is that values aren't even matching with what I see in interface.
Thanks Nélia Santos -----Original Message----- The XMeshBase/XMTS apps are designed to work with XServe/MoteView. TOSBase/XSensor apps work with Xlisten only. Our experience is that, for the MTS420 to work properly and reliably, the GPS module requires at least 3.6V. This has also been documented in MTS-MDA manual. Hello, I've told you i'm using XSensorMTS420 but it was a mistake of mine. I'm realy using XMTS420_903_hp.exe and XMeshBase_903_hp.exe. So that's not the problem. The mica2's I have are MPR400CB with two batteries AA. I thing I can't change mica2's power so I have to go another way. Before XMeshBase I was using TOSBase and XSensor and saw data with xlisten in cygwin. Then I passed to MoteView but can't see the sensors correctly with that apps. What should I do? Use another application that can see TOSBase and XSensor? Because I can't really change it to 3.7V batteries to use XMesh.
