Hi Vasudha, The question you are asking is very general. In order to get reasonable answers, maybe you could give some additional details? Here is a list of questions that should help you to state your problem more clearly.
- what platform are you using? - what sensor board are you using? (or alternatively, what sensor have you connected in what way to the platform you are using?) - what version of TinyOS are you using? - How much experience do you already have? I.e. did you manage to compile, install and run the sample applications? If so, did you manage to write your own programs and just need help with accessing the ligh sensor, or do you need more general help with programming in TinyOS? For instance, if you're using Moteiv's Tmote Sky motes, TinyOS-2 and just want to modify, let's say Deluge, you could write a subject line of the form "tmote T2 deluge, how to read light sensor?". If this was actually the question you wanted to ask, maybe you could also check the mailing list archive. This kind of question comes up from time to time (and good subject lines and problem statements help everybody to easily find appropriate previous messages).
