Hi, At first I installed TinyOS 2 on Ubuntu Dapper with converted rpm, it worked very well.
I recently had to install a fresh Ubuntu Edgy, and I used the ubuntu package to install TinyOS. No problem at install, but I can't compile apps for tossim, it seems some binding with python are missing, and I can't figure out which one(s). But I think it's because my distrib is non standard, with a "usual" edgy it should work smoothly. Hope it helps, Romain PS : And if someone knows have an idea about these dependencies ... I'm now using Fedora and following the install guide from that link you showed at tinyos.net site, but it's precisely where i got stuck in step 4, which is why i'm asking for help, as given the original packages are rpm's, Fedora should be the best place to install everything. I have no idea why it isnt working, i explained the problems in the first post, but if it's not possible to use tiny os on Fedora, i'll just try Ubuntu again...
