Hi,

I have a quick question. In Spring 2007 we purchased the classroom kit
from Crossbow (MIB510CA programming board, MDA 100 sensor board, 2.4
GHz MICA mote). We used TinyOS 2.0, but could not access the sensors
(i.e., could not read the sensor readings). When we contacted
Crossbow, they said that they do not support TinyOS 2.0 and there is
no "driver" for the sensor board in TinyOS 2.0.

This semester (fall 2007) we will again pick up our work. I was
wondering if indeed we cannot read the sensors on the MDA 100 board
(in which case we would go back to TinyOS 1.1). Any advice is
appreciated.

There currently isn't support for the thermistor or light sensor on the MDA100CA/MDA100CB.

That being said, implementing support would be very easy. What's your timeframe? I'd do it myself, but I'm about to travel for two weeks and don't have some micaZs and MDA100s with me.

Phil
