I'm new to tinyos and to thew list as well.
I'm using SuSe Linux 2.6.18.2-34-xen and I have installed all
packages suggested for TinyOS on http://www.tinyos.net/tinyos-2.x/

I have also made a soft link of /usr/bin/nescc to /usr/local/bin/
nescc, as nescc could not be invoked.
However, when I ran make micaz sim in /opt/tinyos-2.x/apps/Blink ,
I got a number of errors. Most important of them (I guess the
reason for all) is:
Python.h: No such file or directory.
I do not know what I miss.. I think Python dev files are included
in the rpms.
The tutorial has a lot of troubleshooting tips.
