Hi Ruben,

2mA could be an LED that you have turned on. If you have a telosb mote 
and you have recently programmed it or communicated over USB, then the 
USB circuitry could be turned on. If you have a sensor board connected, 
maybe it is using power (most sensor boards have options for explicitly 
turning of sensors).

To make further guesses, we would need additional information:
- What hardware do you use (mote, sensors, programming board)?
- What is your test setup? (is the power measured over the battery 
connector or some other connector?)
